Changing Destiny

Watched Brave Story today.
It is a Japanese animation which touched on the subject of changing destiny.
The young protagonist in the story had to overcome a multitude of challenges before his one wish to change one thing in his life can be fulfilled. He went through a host of challenges and eventually made a wish, which in a not unexpected cliched manner, translated into good for the masses and not himself "selfishly".

Destiny change, an interesting concept.

Many a time, I think I am not proactive enough in terms of doing that.
There seems to be just too much strength/courage to be mustered and I perceive myself as being too weak to undertake that.
Then, I end up regretting and nothing is changed for the better.
