In English AGAIN

Green grass newly mown
Sending fresh fragrance all over
City's best perfume

(ok, i very seldom do an all angmoh entry...for anyone who has always gritted his/her teeth ploughing through my deng-nang entries all this while...here's an eye-brightener! )

on the way home today, as i walked by a field near home, a waft of fresh fragrance entered my very being: it was coming from freshly cut grass lying around.

such simple pleasures.

being a "city girl" for the whole of my life, i've began to crave some elements of "nature", not that crafted or structured by man. which is getting so very difficult in the endless waves of urbanisation. nature, is rapidly becoming a lost cause.

so the smell of freshly mown green grass, is so attractive. light, unassuming and soft in tone, it is a gentle reminder that the humble flora around us remains to be appreciated. this is its greatness.

((friends know i am the hopeless romantic, emotional lunatic and sentimental fool.
my sense of poetics is nowhere near the best but i just don't give up.
the next target? to do the same in japanese.....))

thus concludes my exposition.
guess i've successfully trivalisd something already so small, well, too bad.
people who come by on your free will, you can't blame ME!!!
and yes, do smell the grass next time you have the chance, ok?
