Well miao, reading something on a Sat night when you are out with a friend is kind of sad, isn't it?
I don't know if you've experienced this dilemma: you want to be in town on a Sat evening, but when you are there, and after dinner (it's usually at a usual place), the question of 'where to go next' normally pops up. Unless you are into drinking/night life, KTVs, pool, etc., you'll usually end up in a coffee joint to chat.
What we long for is a place that is lively and diverse at night, and Taiwan fits the bill perfectly. Actually, that's what trainrider is lamenting... Singapore is so small and uniform!
Read something when you're bored! :)
